“Keep Moving Forward” is another slice of esoteric Trim brilliance. Opening with a salvo of snare rolls, you are straight into a wickedly moving tech beat and strong vocal reminding us what we should always do in music – “Keep Moving Forward”. And then, just when you think you’ve heard the track, all hell breaks loose with a killer synth line that loops you into a killer dance floor spin, the kind of which ends with some air punching, whistling or jumping around. Or all three if you are me.
Of the other tracks, “Nikita” is a beautiful deep house jam named after Daniel’s youngest son, “Senda” is a rolling tech jam with wonky vocals and loopy jazz bass and “Zbuda” is deep and dark slice of left-field techno with moody pads and metallic stabs.
